Unnecessary difficult

There are games that I have played that are difficult. Then there are games that are unnecessarily difficult. Your game would be categorized with "Unnecessarily Difficult."

The most notable thing that I disliked the most were the levels. While they were fun and innovative, I disliked falling into a bottomless pit and falling to my death. Why didn't you add barriers around the levels so that if I fall, I can easily recover back to finding the Exit?Instead, it demands using lots (and I mean LOTS) of memorization and time to navigate myself through a certain level. Sometimes a level takes me 15 seconds to complete, other times it takes me 15 minutes.

Another thing that sort of bugged was the gameplay. The protagonist's jump seemed really flawed to me, as I would input the command and she would jump about 2 seconds later. While 2 seconds doesn't seem like a lot, it is when your at key moments in the game when a single jump would either mean you reach the Exit or fall into a bottomless pit.
And one of the most highly annoying things about the gameplay is the fact that I cannot rotate the level while my character is jumping. I cannot express how much easier and more enjoyable the game would be if I were able to rotate the stage while jumping. Instead, im stuck with waiting at an edge's platform holding the left key, hoping I don't end up landing in a (surprise) bottomless pit for the umpteenth time.

And please dont get me started on the medals. I find it difficult for others to get medals such as "Super Hero". Seriously, how is anyone supposed to complete this game without dying?!? Some of the other medals like "Just made it" seem tacked on. Why not include more medals for dying and rotations, since these are the only things I've been able to accomplish.

While I may seem harsh in rating your game, please remember that I am pointing out the flaws that I (and many others) have possibly ran into. There are some positive things about your game, such as the innovative levels, the excellent programming by TrueDarkness, and the fabulous art by Luis. I even liked the soundtrack, it sounded like I was listening to a Babyface album!

Please fix some (if not all) of the above stated problems. I want you to do well, I really do. This game has lots of potential, and by far better than most games that most users submit. Maybe then you'll be on the front page again and instead of giving you a 6/10, I'll be giving you a 10/10!

Awesome

So I finally get to play as the robot who goes around deleting my reviews... Ok, why not =)

The moment I saw the art was by MindChamber, I knew I was going to expect top notch graphics with a twist of hiphop culture. Evan Greenstone did one hell of a job with the programming, I didn't even know you could code something as complex as this Flash! Simply put, this game is Beast!

But this game is not without its flaws and one of them is the controls. While the mouse is good, I sometimes move out of the window and have to go back into the window to control M-Bot. This forced me to do:
1) Go to full screen
or
2) Switch it to the less impressive Keyboard

Another thing that bugged me was the on screen action. At certain parts, there was so many things going on that it hurt my eyes. Certain flashes of light didn't help either.

Other than these minor things, the game is overall Beast. No doubt, this will win Game of the Month!

Impressive

I feel as if I were 6 years old again and playing Kung Fu for countless hours on end. Thanks for the nostalgia trip, i greatly appreciated it.

Alright

The game was ok. The thing that really bugged was the fact that your advertising Car Insurance to NG users. Not only that, this game happens to be a demo. Seriously, what the fuck?

LOL

This flash made me laugh. Its this kind of humor that made Newgrounds famous/infamous in the first place!

Holy...

Easily without a doubt the best game to hit Newgrounds in 2009!

nice

It was a nice game. Reminded me of the game Crimson Room.

Lots of fun, controls are meh...

I really liked playing a game based on a Japanese game show. JohnnyUtah's art really shines through, Stamper's voice acting is hilarious, and The-Swain's coding is superb.

I've played this game on Internet Explorer, FireFox and Google Chrome and I have to say that Google Chrome seems to be the fastest browser for this game. FireFox is a little bit slower but hard to tell the difference. Internet Explorer fared the worst with terrible lag.

The only complaint that I have with the game is controls. I hate when Im running on a slope going up or down then suddenly tripping. It seems as if slightly pressing the "A" button in the air automatically makes you trip up landing, which I don't like.

Everything else I love, including the simple fact the medals are easy yet pose a challenge to get, unlike most games which seem to confuse the two. Congratulations you three, this is really Game of the Year material!

Huh

This seems more like a cash-in attempt on Toss the Turtles fame than an original game. On top of that, its less entertaining.

Nice

I... actually enjoyed this! You artwork is really fresh and I love the way you drew Renamon, the best Digimon in the digital world (yeah that was a crappy pun) ; )

Anyways, keep up the good work.

Hey, thanks. :)
She's one of my favourites too.. Regardless of the fact that I 'tweaked' certain features in my drawing.. ;3

I haven't contributed anything yet so theres nothing much going on here. Come back when I've submitted more art or flash.
