[Level Up!]

Spectacular

I speak for the users of by saying this is one of the greatest Platformer games to hit Newgrounds! Fluid gameplay, entertaining story, unique game mechanics, level-ups, etc. Its both a mix of Platforming and RPG gaming!

I'm really glad that you fixed the bugs, as I was about to point them out but now seem to be gone. You have something special here because I chose playing this game over playing Assassin's Creed 2 at a friends. =)

Had a blast

I had a blast playing this game. Tom Fulp, you did a excellent job with the code. MindChamber, your art is fantastic, and it amazes me that you drew so much in 30 days. Krinkels did an excellent job with the guns as there are very unique.

The only things I didn't like where the fact that I could not aim with the mouse, which to me would have made the game easier. The fact that Hank picks up any weapon whenever he runs into it should be addressed like you've said in the "Author's Comments". Also, what would also be nice is if I have a pistol and see another pistol on the ground, I could just take the pistol's ammo instead of swapping it out for the other pistol. Also, it would be better if Hank could do hand to hand combos better than a single punch.

But yeah, I'm done talking. Happy Madness Day 2009!

[Cave of Wonders]

Its good

Luis, your art is great and BomToons does an excellent job at the programming, and Rucklo does an amazing job with the music. Also I really like the double jump technique where if you hit walls you bounce off of them.

By the way Luis, just about how many games and flashes have you created? It seems as if your in everything, not only that but I get the feeling that your trying to land a job with Newgrounds. Not that Im complaining =)

[Dadgame]

Flawed

Let me get my praise out by saying that Dad is one of the most wholesome cartoons that I have seen on Newgrounds. I can show this to my family without having to try and censor all of the perverted and gory humor Newgrounds is known for. I love Dad and his Looney Tunes humor. Now that I've got all my praise out the way, let me rate your game.

While the art is in the style of Dad, it lacks one thing that prevents this game from being epic: gameplay. The gameplay is broken in a few ways such as:

1. Dad continues to walk even if you tap the arrow button once.
2. When standing still and attacking, Dad will randomly walk forward.
3. When walking forward, Dad will walk in the opposite direction. The controls seem to be inverse at times.
4. The frames per second goes from 60 FPS to 7 FPS most times of play. I lowered my quality to low but the game still goes to 7 FPS at times.
5. On one level, I stood still and just straight up button-mashed Z and still beat it.
6. There is a glitch where if you defeat one Footie twin and the other twin flies off the stage, the defeated twin gets back up with full health.
7. There happens to be more bugs but I know other reviews have already pointed them out.

Overall, this game does not live up to its expectations. I hate being negative and giving negative reviews so iron out the bugs, fix the gameplay, and your game will go down in NG history. Thank you for this game and have a nice day.

[A Bad Taste of Pico]

I love UltraPitchFork's art style and I love the way he drew Pico. Im gonna go back some time and get the rest of those medals.

Its a very fun and puzzling point-and-click. I just wish I could hold down the mouse so that I don't have to repeatedly click the mouse to shoot.

Awesome

TomFulp has done a fantastic job at programming the game and MindChamber is an awesome Artist! This is my favorite game and I've actually play it more than once every time I visit Newgrounds. My only complaint is that the game doesn't have the option to use the mouse when aiming. I dont like pressing up or down to aim.

But other than that, this game is Beast and can't wait for the sequel on September 22!
